What is This Website About

Over 2000 years ago, the scientist and mathematician Archimedes ran though the streets, shouting “Eureka!”, “Eureka!”, having just made a groundbreaking finding. Now, today, we can still feel that thrill of grasping a new discovery.

Learning something new should always be an exiting experience, and in turn be motivation for further learning. However, too many students are struggling to find that spark and make that first breakthrough. Oftentimes, when they look for more help, they find the same thing repeated back at them, often in ways that do not fit their learning styles.

Eureka is a project to create and share content to support different learning styles.

“It’s important to draw wisdom from many different places… If we take it from only one place it becomes rigid and stale” – Uncle Iroh, Avatar the Last Airbender

Oftentimes, the best way to learn a new subject is by looking at it from many different angles. The purpose of Eureka is twofold. Firstly, Eureka will help create yet another to angle to approach a subject from, geared towards visual learners. Secondly, Eureka will help provide complex examples of problems, allowing for learners to come up with their own angles when approach more problems of the same type.
